Looking for safety? Look to the Hyundai Sonata

The Insurance Institute for Highway Safety has recently named the 2011 Hyundai Sonata as the ”Top Safety Pick.”  The “Top Safety Pick” award is the Insurance Institute for Highway Safety’s most prestigious award and to qualify, a vehicle must earn a Good rating in front, side, rear, and rollover crash tests. The vehicle that is chosen also must be equipped with electronic stability control.

The fact that the 2011 Sonata won this award this year means even more to the used Sonata Elantra Bloomington dealer because this year the award became tougher to earn when IIHS added a new roof-strength test that is twice as tough as the federal requirement. Because of this, many of the vehicles that had previously qualified as Top Picks fell off the list in 2010. By winning this award, it shows consumers that the 2011 Sonata is one of the safest cars on the road and if consumers first priority is safety the Sonata is the obvious choice. Besides being the safest car on the road the Sonata, which is a  front-wheel-drive, mid-size four-door sedan, features innovative powertrain technology, class-leading safety and best in-segment MPG ratings.

Hyundai headquarters tells the used Hyundai Sonata Bloomington dealer that the 2011 Sonata is definitely one of the most important Hyundai cars that Hyundai plans to release over the next five years. Hyundai also said that the new Sonata will also play a major role in enhancing the brand’s image and increase sales in the U.S. market.

In addition to winning, the Insurance Institute for Highway Safety “Top Safety Pick” award, the 2011 Hyundai Sonata was named “Car of The Month” for March by NADAguides, one of the leading providers of vehicle information in the U.S. market. NADAguides “Car of the Month” program provides consumers with reviews from experts on cars, SUV’s, and trucks. NADAguides selects one car per month only and announces the winner through online video reviews, press releases and blog posts, which is great news for the used Sonata Elantra Bloomington dealer because the 2011 Sonata will get exposed to thousands of consumers who are shopping for new cars.

The 2011 Sonata is currently available at the used Hyundai Sonata Bloomington dealer and is expected to cost between $19,915-$28,115.
