Hyundai leads the car market into the future with an industry first owners manual
If it’s not one thing in the media about celebrities, it’s another. Who’s married whom, is followed by who’s divorced whom. And if the ever increasing favorite of the masses has become which famous idle has come out of the closet. I can see where a lot of people, myself included, would be shocked when Niel Patrick Harris came out. The thing that puzzles me greatly, even troubles me a little, is how anyone in their right mind, could be in any way surprised that Ricky Martin is gay.
Just off point from his music, the constant reminder of this fact comes daily while listening to my favorite radio station, Cities 92.9 in Bloomington, IL. There’s a car dealer, Extreme Hyundai, that uses one of his songs, slightly changed to avoid a legal problem, as their dealer’s jingle. Every day I am blasted with GO GO GO, Type EXTREME .COM. I have to admit, it’s really catchy. Almost hate to admit, but everyone I work with ends up singing it at some point throughout the day. It’s just good marketing.
More than that, it’s a reliable dealership as well. For a while now, a friend of mine has been looking for a used Hyundai Elantra or a used Hyundai Veracruz. Bloomington is a big town and all, but it seems like as soon as you’re looking for a car, no dealer has it. Yet, everyone on the road does. Extreme Hyundai was able to find my friend a used Hyundai Elantra. Bloomington is great because the dealerships have plenty of local competition for different manufacturers, but there aren’t really any duplicates on brand. No competition to cause over-selling of the same product.
The hot new thing that sets Hyundai apart from the rest is their new manual system. Now, instead of a thick and boring book in the glove box taking up room that no one ever reads each new Equus comes with a brand new iPad. Have you seen the inside of the new Equus? It’s the coolest looking car that the dealer has ever come out with when it comes to interior tech. Hyundai now giving a fully functional iPad with each Equus off the lot, it’s better than syrup on pancakes. Do you know anyone that says no to syrup on pancakes? Of course not!
