Four Hyundai models receive nod for Top 25 cars under 25k

Used Hyundai Elantra Bloomington drivers, along with Elantra Touring, Tucson SE and used Hyundai Sonata drivers in Bloomington probably knew this already. That Hyundai models are some of the best and most affordable out there. All of the above were all listed among the Top 25 Cars under $25,000 by consumerreports.com. This means that all the listed cars have a manufacturer suggested retail price, (MSPR) under $25,000 when typically equipped. This price includes, destination charges, with typical features, such as, air conditioning; anti-lock brakes; power windows; CD player locks; mirrors; cruise control; and automatic transmission.

The Hyundai Elantra SE has the lowest price which is, $18, 565. Then the Hyundai Elantra Touring price increases just a bit, which is 20,515. The third car, Sonata GLS costs 21,270 and the fourth car is the Tucson SE, which costs,  24,245. Also, a car that wasn’t featured on this list, but costs around the same fully equipped is a used Hyundai Genesis Coupe. Bloomington drivers can find a great used Genesis Coupe for under $25,000. And that is a very nice price for a sports coupe that competes with models well above its price range.

The top 5 cars with the lowest prices  that were featured on the list are, the Honda Fit (base), Mazada 3 Sport (sedan), Hyundai Elantra SE, Volkswagon Jetta S, and the Hyundai Sonata GLS. Among the top 5 and the rest of the list as a whole, Hyundai was the automaker with the most cars that were featured on the list.  Which just proves that as the automotive industry is making a comeback, Hyundai is leading the way. Consumers are recognizing the automakers economically priced and high quality vehicles. While Toyota, Honda, and Nissan are experiencing year-over-year sales declines over 30% from last year, Hyundai increased sales by 12% in July alone. Also, Hyundai’s market share has increased over 1.5% since the beginning of 2009 to over 5% for the first time ever.
