Dealers Excited About Low Price of 2011 Sonatas

You know what makes a Bloomington Hyundai dealer excited? When a great car hits their lots and they can sleep at night knowing that consumers can actually afford to buy it.

How many times do we see commercials on television telling us that we can purchase this vehicle for the “low, low price” of “way too much money?” It’s almost like the people putting together these ad campaigns don’t know the first thing about what the average American consumer can afford in a new vehicle. But Hyundai doesn’t fit that mold. They know what buyers want, and they seem to have some idea about what buyers are able to pay for it. That’s how prices for the new 2011 Sonata can start in at under $20,000.

To be precise, the cost of a base GLS model Sonata is $19,915, which looks even better on paper. There are, of course, plenty of opportunities to upgrade on the standard, including manual or automatic transmission and a host of interior features, exterior perks, and plenty of technological toys to improve the overall drive experience. But even the least expensive form of the new Sonata has a 2.4-liter, four-cylinder engine under the hood of a car that looks just about as sweet as sugar.

The loaded Limited model of the new Sonata is going to run potential buyers about $28,115, but that includes a navigation system, heated leather seats, 17-inch wheels, and a piano black or wood grain interior furnishing. There’s also an improved stereo system and rear-view camera in the dash’s LCD screen. So don’t think that this car is just for penny-pinchers. Those looking to add a little luxury to their Hyundai certainly have more than enough opportunities to do so.

And for those trying to track down a used Hyundai Sonata, Bloomington Extreme dealerships are going to have more than their fair share. Looking for a used Hyundai Elantra? Bloomington can do the same favors for you there. But let’s face it—you want something new, and you really don’t want to have to take out a second mortgage on your home or rob your teenage child of the opportunity to attend college just to drive home in something you’re satisfied with. Starting in at under 20 G’s, the 2011 Hyundai Sonata is a perfect solution. Right now, it’s mostly just the dealers who are excited about this, but it won’t be long before thousands of consumers are excited about it, too. It’s really just a matter of time.

  1. The all-new Sonata is a major hit for Hyundai. Even if the price wasn’t so attractively set, the vehicle would still attract thousands of US consumers, cause it looks attractive and has segment leading powertrain technology, which outperforms that found in Honda and Toyota models.

Just keep the great work Hyundai!!

    Best,

    Hyundai fan! ;)
